Be sure to download and install this patch after you
install the game. This corrects an error in the
game's text display.
Installation instructions for the downloadable
version:
Once you download the Zip, make a new folder for the
game’s files. Title it: The Weapons of
Ganildan. Make sure you do this, the folder must be
new and no other files but the game’s must be in
it. Now, click on the Zip of the game, then select
all five files and extract them into the new
folder. Go to the folder and click on it. Inside
you’ll see some files, click on the one with the
icon of the guy with the sword up in the air (It’ll
say Setup on it). Leave all the boxes checked on the
installation menu, click Start Installation and within a
minute or so the game will be installed onto your
computer. Now, click on the Start tab on your toolbar, go
to Programs, scroll down to the bottom and you should see
a tab for RPG Maker 2000, from there a tab will fold out
that says Games on it, put your cursor on that tab and
another tab will fold out that says: The Weapons of
Ganildan on it. Click on that and you’re ready to
play.
Installation instructions for the disc version (This
only applies to those who have received a copy of the
game on disc from me):
Put the game’s disc into your computer’s CD
Drive, click on My Computer, find your CD Drive’s
icon and click on that. You should now see a folder
titled: The Weapons of Ganildan. Right click on the
folder, then pick Send To. Now, send the folder to
where ever it is that you usually send your files
to. Examples: My Documents and my Briefcase
(That’ll make a copy of the files onto your
computer). After you send the folder there, go
there and click on your newly created The Weapons Of
Ganildan folder. Inside you’ll see some files,
click on the one with the icon of the guy with the sword
up in the air (It’ll say Setup on it). Leave
all the boxes checked on the installation menu, click
Start Installation and within a minute or so the game
will be installed onto your computer. Now, click on
the Start tab on your toolbar, go to Programs, scroll
down to the bottom and you should see a tab for RPG Maker
2000, from there a tab will fold out that says Games on
it, put your cursor on that tab and another tab will fold
out that says: The Weapons of Ganildan on it. Click
